One of our first projects of the day on Monday was to dismantle and save as much of the old bridge as we could. The only thing left on the far bank was the two poles that were used as supports. The decking and railing had been completely town off these and disappeared into the water. They will probably show up in Lake Champlain sometime in the near future. The remains on the near bank still had decking and railings attached that we were able to salvage. |
